Good dental health begins early.  An important step recommended by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is for your child to visit the orthodontist for an evaluation by at least age 7.  This may surprise you since orthodontics is usually associated with adolescence.  However, early screening can help detect and prevent significant orthodontic and dental problems from developing.
